KANSAS CITY - Three Marian baseball players were named to the NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete Team as announced by the NAIA Wednesday evening.

James CatanzariteTyler Glenn and Kevin Hammond were all given the honor for the Knights. In total, 383 men's baseball student-athletes were named scholar-athletes. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.

The trio helped the Knights to the NAIA World Series Opening Round this season and a runner-up finish in the Crossroads League Tournament.
