GOSHEN, Ind. - The Marian men's tennis team found themselves behind late in the match, but rallied to earn a 5-4 victory over Goshen Saturday in Goshen, Indiana. The Knights are 3-1 with the win.

Goshen took two of the three doubles match to begin the afternoon as Noah Roberts and Alex Wittenbaum lost 8-5 at No. 2 and Nathan Bogle and Ian Deiters fell 9-7 at No. 1. Turner Lesnick and Nicholas Marroquin salvaged a win for the Knights, winning 9-7 at No. 3 doubles to finish the doubles slate.

Marian tied the match once singles play started with a win at No. 4, 6-1, 6-2, by Wittenbaum. After Roberts gave the Knights the lead with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 3, Goshen won the next match to tie it back up. Lesnick fell 6-3, 6-2 at No. 6, but Bogle put Marian back out in front with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 1. A win from Marroquin at No. 5, 6-3, 1-6, 6-4, sealed the win for the Knights. Deiters' match at No. 2 finished last and the Marian sophomore fell 6-3, 7-5.
