INDIANAPOLIS -- Sophomore left fielder
Josh Terrell (Richmond, Va./Danville CC) was honored on Monday as the Mid-Central College Conference Player of the Week for his performances in four games last week.
The Richmond, Va., native batted .500 (8-16) on the week with a double,
two RBI, three runs scored and was had two stolen bases. He also
extended his team-leading hitting streak to six games with a pair in a
9-5 victory over Taylor. He also went 3-5 at Butler in a 7-4 defeat.
On the young conference season, he is leading the team with a .455 batting average in 12 plate appearances.
Terrell led the Knights to a 3-1 record last week including a
three-game sweep over the Trojans of Taylor University to open the
conference season.
The Knights get back on the diamond when they head to Spring Arbor,
Mich., for a doubleheader against the unbeaten (in conference) Cougars
on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
