INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian women's tennis team claimed their fourth win of the season Tuesday afternoon after defeating Bethel College 6-0. The match was played at Community Healthplex due to a threat of rain during the match. Marian is now 4-1 this season.

The Knights got a quick win in No. 2 doubles to start the match, as Anne Taylor and Maria Lueken knocked off Abbey VanDiver and Chase Kieper 8-2. Not too long after the first doubles set was finished, Mary Mullaney and Emma Wood took down Grace Haley and Stephanie Cressman 8-4 in No. 3 doubles. Finishing out doubles play was Elise Betscher and Maria Angela Sunga, as they fought hard to pull out the 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles against Bethel's Taylor Freedline and Caroline Boger. 

Singles play was dominated by the Knights as well, as they won all three matches that they played. Taylor got the first singles win, taking down VanDiver 6-0, 6-1 at No. 4. Sunga took down the Haley 6-0, 6-0 to win at No. 3, then Mullaney defeated Kieper 6-1, 6-1 at No. 5 to finish off the match. Due to time constraints at the Healthplex the match was played until it was clinched, giving the Knights their 6-0 victory.
