WINONA LAKE, Ind. - The Marian men's tennis team saw their five-match winning streak come to an end as the Knights lost 5-4 at Grace Saturday in Winona Lake, Indiana. Marian is 6-2 overall with the loss.

Grace took two of the three doubles matches with a win at No. 2 to start the day as Noah Roberts and Alex Wittenbaum lost 8-5. Nathan Bogle and Ian Deiters evened the score with an 8-6 win at No. 1 before Turner Lesnick and Nicholas Marroquin fell 8-4 at No. 3.

In singles play, Wittenbaum tied the score at two apiece with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 4, but Grace went ahead again with a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 2 as Deiters fell. Roberts was able to tie the score at three with a 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 3, but Bogle dropped a 6-2, 6-2 decision at No. 1. Marroquin answered the challenge for the Knights once more, tying the score at four with a 6-3, 6-3 win at No. 5, but Grace was victorious with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 6 as Lesnick fell.
