INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian women's tennis team had no trouble picking up another Crossroads League win Tuesday, defeating St. Francis 9-0 at the Marian Tennis Courts. The win makes Marian 7-1 this season and it's the sixth win in a row for the Knights.

Doubles play started with a pair of dominating wins as Elise Betscher and Maria Angela Sunga won 8-3 at No. 1. Maria Lueken and Anne Taylor won 8-2 at No. 2. No. 3 doubles was the final match to finish and it came down to the wire as Mary Mullaney and Emma Wood won 9-8 (2) to secure the sweep.

Singles play was a breeze for the Knights as all six players closed out their matches in two sets. Lueken won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 to open up singles play and Sunga clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3. Taylor was victorious at No. 4, 6-4, 6-2, while Betscher won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1. Mullaney won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 5 and Lizzie McClure closed the day with a 6-3, 6-1.
