INDIANAPOLIS - The marian men's tennis team made quick work of St. Francis on Tuesday, earning a 9-0 win at the Marian Tennis Courts. The Knights are 7-2 overall with the win and 6-2 in the Crossroads League.

The Knights hardly surrendered a game throughout the match as Turner Lesnick and Nicholas Marroquin opened doubles play with an 8-2 win at No. 3. Nathan Bogle and Ian Deiters followed with an 8-2 win of their own at No. 1 and Alex Wittenbaum and Noah Roberts earned an 8-1 win at No. 2. 

After the doubles sweep, the Knights went to work in singles play, controlling it from the start. Deiters won quickly, 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2. Wittenbaum also won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 4 to clinch the match and Roberts blanked his opponent as well at No. 3. Bogle was victorious 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 and Marroquin won by the same score at No. 5. Lesnick won 6-3, 6-1 at No. 6.
