INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian men's tennis team fell behind early in doubles play, but bounced back to win 7-2 over Spring Arbor Friday at the Marian Tennis Courts. The Knights are 6-2 in the Crossroads League with the win and will enter the conference tournament as the second seed.

The Knights fell behind 2-0 in doubles play as Nathan Bogle and Ian Deiters lost 8-5 at No. 1 and Noah Roberts and Alex Wittenbaum lost 8-4 at No. 2. Turner Lesnick and Nicholas Marroquin salvaged a point for Marian, winning 9-7 at No. 3.

With the deficit cut in half, Marian dominated singles play to leave little doubt in a crucial conference match. Bogle rebounded from his doubles defeat with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 1, while Wittenbaum won 6-1, 6-3 at No. 4 to give Marian the lead. Deiters was challenged at No. 2, but won in two sets, 7-5, 6-3. Roberts the clinched the match with a 7-5, 7-5 win at No. 3 and Marroquin won 6-0, 6-4 at No. 5. Max Ismoilov closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-7(4), (10-8) win at No. 6.
