INDIANAPOLIS - As one big week of Marian athletics is in the books, another one opens up as championship season is among us. Overall the Knights faced two losses, pulling off some incredible performances along the way. This week proves to be equally important, so let's dive in to find out where you can watch Marian win this week!

GOLF - Both the men's and women's golf teams are competing Indianapolis today and tomorrow, Tuesday October 3 at the Butler Fall Invitational. The Knights will be on the course from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. both days.

TENNIS - It is postseason time for both tennis teams, as both the men's and women's program enter the Crossroads League Tournament as the No. 2 seed. Marian will host the opening round on Tuesday, October 3 at 1:00 p.m. at the Marian Tennis Courts. The men's team will play host to Grace College while the women will square off against St. Francis. It is a single elimination tournament, and if both teams prevail they will be at home again on Thursday. Best of luck to both team's as the men look to repeat as Crossroads League Tournament Champions, while the women seek their first title.

FOOTBALL - After suffering a heart-crushing loss last Saturday to No. 1 St. Francis, the Knights football team looks to come back stronger this weekend as they host St. Ambrose University. This will be the third home game of the season for Marian, as they look to avoid a 2-3 start to the season. Kickoff for Saturday's game is at 1:05 p.m.

VOLLEYBALL - After a pair of sweeps last week, Marian looks to have another perfect week as Ashlee Pritchard's team will play two home games this week. Marian will host Taylor University on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m., before closing the week with a 5:30 p.m. matchup on Saturday against Lourdes University. The Knights completed the season sweep of Mt. Vernon Nazarene University last week, and are looking to do the same on Wednesday against the Trojans.

MEN'S SOCCER - Coming off of a loss to Mt. Vernon Nazarene on Saturday night, Marian looks to pick up their first Crossroads League win of the season when they play host to Grace College on Wednesday. The Knights will also be in action on Saturday as they travel to Bethel College. Wednesday's match begins at 7:00 p.m. at St. Vincent Field, while the Bethel match will begin at 5:00 p.m.

WOMEN'S SOCCER - The No. 16 women's soccer team kept their winning streak alive on Saturday night, as they squeaked out a 1-0 win over Bethel College. Holding a seven-match win streak, Marian will be on the road Wednesday night as they play their second Crossroads League game at Grace College. After the mid-week 7:00 p.m. match against the Lancers, the Knights return home on Saturday night to host Mt. Vernon at 7:00 p.m.

CYCLING - This weekend the Knights On Bikes begin the road Missoula, Mont. as they ride in the MWCCC Mountain Bike Regionals. Saturday the Knights will be riding at the Indy Cylcoplex, and then changing locations Sunday as they compete at Southwestway Park, located off Southport Road and State Road 37 near Greenwood.

BOWLING - The Knights bowling team begins competition this weekend, as they play for the first time this year. Coach Gary Hiday's team will travel to Wauwatosa, Wis. on Saturday and Sunday to play in the Midwest Collegiate Tournament.
