INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian women's tennis team had no trouble in the Crossroads League Tournament quarterfinals, winning 9-0 over St. Francis Tuesday afternoon at the Marian Tennis Courts. The Knights are 9-1 with the win.

Doubles was a breeze as Maria Lueken and Anne Taylor dispatched Brittany Kuhlenbeck and Rebecca Faber 8-1 at No. 2. Elise Betscher and Maria Angela Sunga won by the same score at No. 1 and Mary Mullaney and Emma Wood won 8-3 at No. 3.

The Knights cruised through singles play as well as Lueken was the first to finish, winning 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2. Sunga then clinched the match at No. 3, 6-0, 6-0 before Taylor won No. 4 by a score of 6-1, 6-3. Betscher won at No. 1 6-4, 6-1 and Mullaney picked up a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 5. Alex Griebling closed the match with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 6.

Marian will face the winner of Huntington and Grace Thursday at the Marian Tennis Courts.
