INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian men's tennis team is headed back to the Crossroads League Championship for the fourth straight season after knocking off Taylor Thursday night at the UIndy Tennis Center. Playing to clinch the match, Marian came out victorious 5-1.

Marian got the match started out with a win at No. 1 doubles. The pair of Ian Deiters and Nicholas Marroquin bested Jake Herbruck and Alex Jung 8-3 for the first win of the night. Taylor won their lone match of the night at No. 2 doubles, as Andre Danelli and Christen Jacquottet bested Nathan Bogle and Noah Roberts 8-6. The Knights finished doubles play strong, as Alex Wittenbaum and Max Ismoilov battled to win their matchup at No. 3 doubles 9-8 (7). 

Entering singles play needing three more wins to take the match, Marian made quick work to finish the match. Deiters got the third point of the evening with a 6-4, 6-3 win at No. 2 singles. Continuing their dominance, Roberts won the fourth point 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles. Clinching the match was Wittenbaum, who won No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-1 to send the home team through to the championship.
