The Marian University Cycling Team is proud to announce a partnership with SPORTZbizz Massage LLC and Massage Therapist Terry Fletcher to provide massage services to the Knights on Bikes.

Fletcher will serve as the Knights' official Team Massage Therapist, providing recovery and other massage services to all athletes on the team throughout all schedules of training and racing for the school year.  Fletcher is proactive in working with the campus athletic training department and works to provide a medical focus to each athlete.

"We're excited to be working with Terry and have access to his extensive experience and knowledge about how massage therapy can improve performance and aid in recovery," said Head Cycling Coach Dean Peterson. "Adding these services to our program is one additional step we can take to improve our overall portfolio of support for our student-athletes."

Fletcher is himself a runner and cyclist who understands the toll a challenging training regimen can take on everyone, from weekend warriors to seasoned athletes. He has been practicing the art of sports massage therapy for over 16 years, and his massage services specialize in helping athletes work through intense training cycles along with injury care and prevention with the goal of achieving peak performance in their sport of choice.

His experience is vast and encompasses teams and individuals such at Indy 11 Professional Soccer, Butler Cross Country / Track and Field, University of Indianapolis Swimming, along with many DI/DII/DIII NCAA Swimming Championship teams throughout the US and most recently the Olympic Diving Championship trials, US World Swimming Championship trials, and the Junior World Swimming Championships held in Indianapolis.

"I have already had the chance to work with a small handful of Marian cyclists and I look forward to expanding that to the entire team.  What an incredible opportunity to help achieve and maintain peak performance and to work with such an experienced team and its coaching staff" said Fletcher.
