GOSHEN, Ind. - The Marian women's soccer team found themselves down early, but battled back to salvage a draw at Goshen, 1-1, Wednesday in Goshen, Indiana. Marian's unbeaten streak now stands at 10 games with an overall record of 10-2-1 and a Crossroads League record of 3-0-1.

Goshen struck first in the ninth minute with a goal from Carolina Villalobos Palacios off a free kick that slipped past Catherine Schmidt. The Knights were able to find an answer before the intermission when Mackenzie Hall scored from the six-yard box in the 41st minute to even the score.

The two teams played 65 minutes of scoreless osccer after the halftime break and Marian recorded its first draw of the season. The Knights dominated the shot category, outshooting Goshen 33-8. Marian also held an astounding 20-1 advantage in corner kicks, but was unable to find the second half breakthrough to secure the win.

Maria Farmer took a game-high 10 shots, while four other players recorded three or more. Schmidt faced seven shots on goal and made four saves.
