LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Marian College women's cross country team earned
a 16th-place finish at the 2006 Greater Louisville Classic on Saturday.
Junior
Erica Baechle paced the Knights with a 76th-place finish. The
Oldenburg, Ind., native finished the five-kilometer course in 21:19.51.
Junior
Julia Konopasek finished in 81st place with a time of 21:29.60
while sophomore
Sarah Fowler finished in 95th with a time of 21:43.26.
Junior Jessica VanVleet finshed in 104th with a time of 21:52.18 while junior
Molly Till finished 110th (21:59.71).
Freshman
Jill Kuntz finished 134th with a time of 22:26.15, senior
Regina Rust finished 140th with a time of 22:35.72, while Latisha
Yeager finished with a time of 22:59.38. Sophomore
Amanda Frey ran the
course in 24:26.80.
More than 230 runners participated in the event from 25 schools and individuals.
The Knights get back on course when they travel to the Huntington Invitational in Huntington, Ind., on Saturday.
