MARION, Ind. -- The Marian College women's cross country team finished in seventh at the 2006 Mid-Central Conference Championships on IWU's campus in Marion, Ind. on Saturday.

Sophomore Julia Konopasek led the Knights after she finished in 23rd place with a time of 20:28. Sophomore Sarah Fowler finished in 35th with a time of 21:01 while junior Jessica VanVleet finished in 39th with a time of 21:19.

Juniors Laticia Yeager and Molly Till finished in 44th and 46th, respectively, with times of 21:32 and 21:37.

Freshman Jill Kuntz finished in 54th with a time of 22:00 while senior Regina Rust finished 64th with a time of 22:36. Sophomore Amanda Frey finished in 78th place with a time of 24:15.

The Knights head to the NAIA Region VIII Championships on November 4 at Indiana Wesleyan.
