Cassie Lomison is entering her second season as head coach at Marian University. A native of Greenfield, Indiana, Lomison was a four-year player at Milligan College in Tennessee.
She was also named Appalachian Athletic Conference Sportswoman of the Year as a senior. In her four years, Lomison went 48-18 at No. 1 singles and was named NAIA Region XII Player of the Year as a junior. She was AAC runner-up at No. 1 singles in 2003 and 2004 and was AAC champion at No. 1 doubles in 2003 and 2005. She was also named the 2006 NAIA ITA/Arthur Ashe Leader and Sportsmanship Award winner in 2006.
She was named Mid-Central College Conference Coach of the Year after leading her team to an 11-2 record in the fall of 2009.
In addition to her duties as head women's tennis coach, Lomison serves the department of athletics as administrative assistant, where she oversees day-to-day operations. She resides in Indianapolis, Ind.
