David Roberts enters his 25th season as the head coach of the men's and women's track and field programs

A two-time Mid-Central College Conference Coach of the Year, Roberts has led 26 Knights to national qualification and has had five individual conference champions. He has had four NAIA All-Americans in cross country and led the women's program to the 1994 MCC Championship.

A member of the 2006 and 2007 USATF outdoor championships organizing committee, Roberts was instrumental in the production of events in the city of Indianapolis on both the local and national levels. He also served as a coach at the 1996 Indianapolis Peace Games.

He resides in Indianapolis with his wife, Pam, and the couple have four children (Chris, Emily, Jennifer, and Meghann).

Molly Cummings - Assistant Coach - 1st Season
 
Molly Cummings is entering her first season as assistant coach at Marian University. She will focus on training and working with the jumpers, hurdlers, and sprinters at Marian University.

Cummings earned a bachelor of science degree in exercise science from Anderson University in 2008 and was a four-year letter winner at Anderson. She is currently ranked in the top five all-time at Anderson University in the 400-meter hurdles.

Last season, she served as an assistant coach at Anderson focusing on jumps, hurdles, and sprints.

She is a USA Track & Field Level I Certified coach who is also certified in first aid and CPR.

Cummings has also spent time coaching at the high school level. She spent time at Pendleton Heights High School in Indiana, and Benjamin Logan High School and Bellefontaine High School in Ohio.

Cummings currently resides in Indianapolis.

Adam Sherman - Assistant Coach - 1st Season

Coach Sherman is in his first season coaching at Marian College after a season serving as the offensive line coach for one of the most storied high school programs in the state of Indiana. And, he is no stranger to NAIA football.

In 2007, Adam spent the season as the offensive line coach for the five-time IHSAA Class 5A state champion Warren Central High School Warriors. In his one season with the Warriors, Sherman helped coordinate the rushing game and assist with offensive sideline adjustments. His rushing game led the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference with 4,500 yards.

Prior to his stint with Warren Central, Sherman served as the offensive line coach at Kathleen High School in Lakeland, Florida, in 2006. As the rushing game coordinator, Sherman coached All-State first team center Devone Williams and helped lead the Red Devils to a 9-3 overall record.

In 2005, he served as offensive line coach at Perry Meridian High School where he coordinated the rushing game and assisted with sideline adjustments.

Sherman was a four-year starter at the University of Saint Francis and was a two-time NAIA All-American and a three-time MSFA All-Mideast pick. He earned a bachelor of science in education in 2005.

Sherman and his wife of three years, Kari, and daughter, Hayden, reside in Indianapolis.
