Dan Findley is in his 14th season as the head coach of the Marian University Knights volleyball program.
In his 12 seasons at the helm of the volleyball program, Findley has amassed a 202-183 overall record and has had four 20-win seasons. Last season, Findley guided the Knights to a 29-8 overall record and runner-up finish in the Mid-Central College Conference with a 6-2 mark. The 29 wins tied the school record set in 1997 and the 6-2 MCC record was the best since the 2006 season. Last season's mark was the second consecutive 20-win season for Findley as the Knights went 20-10 in 2008.
Findley guided the Knights to the NAIA Region VIII semifinals in 2006 as the team finished 19-13 with a 6-2 mark in the MCC. They fell to Cornerstone University (MI) in their first regional semifinal berth.
During his tenure at Marian University, Findley has coached 34 All-Mid-Central College Conference selections and has had three players named NAIA All-Region VIII. Last season, he coached the 2009 MCC Freshman of the Year in Ashley Francis and was named MCC Coach of the Year for the first time in his career. Additionally, Findley coached the 2004 MCC Libero of the Year and 2006 NAIA All-America honorable mention Bethany Dulle in 2006. He has had three players earn Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors during his tenure and his players own all Marian University volleyball records.
Prior to being named head coach, Findley served as an assistant coach at Marian University.
He resides in Mooresville, Indiana.
