"We Are Not Done Winning Yet" (posted on October 12, 2010)

Hey there, all you Marian University soccer fans. I apologize for not keeping you all updated lately, but here I go with my next entry.

Well, ever since our impressive victory against Indiana Wesleyan in our conference opener for the season, we have been keeping our winning ways true. We are 3-0-1 in conference play since that game, with a couple impressive come-from-behind victories against Spring Arbor and Goshen. Goshen was our first road conference game, and we got down early, but came back to score two good goals in the final 15 minutes of the game. Our final goal in that game is, in my opinion, the best goal that I have ever seen. There's nothing better than a 45-yard upper-90 laser from my boy Tyler Kitchen to clinch a victory!

We don't look to be slowing down at all as a team, and as long as we keep winning we will be hosting part, if not all, of our conference tournament. We don't want to settle for a conference tournament berth. We have our eyes set on Orange Beach, Alabama, and the site of the 2010 NAIA National Tournament. So, continued support from our fans is crucial for our success, and I am grateful for all the fans we have here at Marian, so keep cheering us on and I promise that we will bring you success and hopefully a conference title come mid-November!

I also want to give a shout out to my center back Don Oldham for winning MCC Defensive Player of the Week for his stellar play as a beast on the backline for us. Good Stuff Don!

Let's keep working boys, we're not done winning yet!
