The Marian College M-Club hosted the first of two banquest honoring spring sports on Friday night at Allison Mansion. The M-Club, the fundraising arm of Marian College athletics, honored the Knight baseball and softball programs for their successes both in the classroom and on the field of play.
 
Director of Athletics Joe Haklin emceed the event with Marian College M-Club Board member Tom Egold '65 delivering an address to the student-athletes.
 
Head baseball coach Kurt Guldner and head softball coach Scott Fleming spoke of their respective seasons and honored their players with an M-Club Certificate of Participation.
 
In addition, four athletes from each program were honored with awards presented by the M-Club. The final awards of the evening were the prestigious four-year player awards honoring those who have stayed the course all four years at Marian College.
