Rita Rouse - Assistant Coach - 1st Season
Rita Rouse is in her first year as an assistant coach at Marian University.
Rouse was the varsity coach at Morristown High School for 11 years before coming to Marian. During those 11 seasons her teams compiled a 283-124 record. She led Morristown to 11 consecutive sectional titles, five regional titles, seven conference titles, and eight Shelby County tournament titles. She had five 30-win seasons and hear teams advanced to the IHSAA Class A state finals four times, bringing home the state title in 2003. She was also named the ICGSA South Coach of the Year in 2000m 2001, 2004, and 2007.
Rita and her husband are both graduates from Morristown where they currently reside. They have five sons and two grandchildren.
