Meghan McWhirter is in her third season as an assistant coach for Marian University. Formerly Meghan Pilarski, she was a four-year letter winner at Marian University in basketball and track and field is is the current record-holder for the women's javelin throw.

She played in 103 games, including 48 starts, and averaged 6.5 points per game. Meghan was known more for her ability to rebound the basketball as she averaged 4.2 boards per game including 113 rebounds on the offensive end.

She earned a bachelor of science degree in biology in 2006 and is currently a nursing student at Marian University. She recently married Josh McWhirter, a former baseball player at Marian University; and the couple resides in Indianapolis.
