Was primarily used as a starting pitcher but saw time in the field...made seven starts and went 1-6 in his rookie campaign...logged 33.2 innings and struck out a team-high 35...also had one hit and four runs scored in 11 games in the field...had two RBI.

Was a two-time All-State pick in baseball...also an All-State pick in football...a two-time All-Conference pick in in basketball...was a two-time All-Conference selection in baseball...also named All-Conference as a senior in football.
