Saw action in eight games … had 13 kickoff returns for 259 yards … also registered six tackles and a pass break-up.

Sophomore Year (2008-09)

Saw action in 10 games at both quarterback and running back … completed seven of 10 passes for 53 yards … compiled 200 rushing yards on 39 carries, averaging 5.1 yards per carry … had 14 carries for a team-high 96 yards rushing in a road contest against #20 Virginia Tech … completed two passes for eight yards and had 43 yards rushing on six carries against #25 Ball State … was four of six passing for 43 yards and compiled 45 yards rushing against Florida Atlantic … had five carries for 25 yards in a road contest against Troy.

Freshman Year (2006-07)

Saw action in 10 games for the University of Tulsa … rushed the ball 30 times for 153 yards and one touchdown … also caught a pair of passes for the Golden Hurricane.

High School

Started and lettered for three years at Warren Central High under current WKU offensive coordinator Kevin Wright ... helped lead the Warriors to three consecutive state 5A championships ... selected Indiana's Mr. Football by the Indianapolis Star as a senior after rushing for 2,116 yards and 29 scores ... had 158 yards and three touchdowns on 12 carries in state championship game that year ... WCHS finished season 14-1 and ranked 15th in the final USA Today High School Poll ... an all-state and all-Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference honoree, and was named the county player of the year ... rushed for 1,460 yards and passed for 450 more while accounting for 27 scores as a junior.
