David Roberts enters his 25th season as the head coach of the men's and women's track and field programs

A two-time Mid-Central College Conference Coach of the Year, Roberts has led 26 Knights to national qualification and has had five individual conference champions. He has had four NAIA All-Americans in cross country and led the women's program to the 1994 MCC Championship.

A member of the 2006 and 2007 USATF outdoor championships organizing committee, Roberts was instrumental in the production of events in the city of Indianapolis on both the local and national levels. He also served as a coach at the 1996 Indianapolis Peace Games.

He resides in Indianapolis with his wife. The couple has four children.
