INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head football coach Ted Karras, Jr., is proud to announce the commitment of Quentin Avery for the 2010 season of Knights football.
Avery, who will graduate from Winter Springs High School in Winter Springs, Fla., this spring, is a three-time Lamp of Knowledge recipient who was named team Most Valuable Player in 2008. He was also named the team Offensive Most Valuable Player in 2007 and was a two-time Special Teams Most Valuable Player in 2008 and 2009.
He becomes the 16th student-athlete to commit to Knights football which kicks off its fourth season on Saturday, August 28 when the University of St. Francis (Ill.) comes to St.Vincent Health Field for the first-ever game under the lights.
