INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head men's soccer coach Chad Hardin is proud to announce the fifth commitment to the Marian University men's soccer program for the 2010-11 season.

Daniel Terrell, who recently completed a transfer from Northern Kentucky University, has committed to the Knights for next season. He competed for NKU during the 2008-09 season and was part of a team that reached the NCAA Division II Final Four.

"I am very excited to add Daniel to our program," said Hardin. "He is an extremely hard worker and will add a high level of competitiveness to our team. He should come in and challenge for playing time right away."

A graduate of Madison Consolidated High School, Terrell was named All-State honorable mention and All-District first team in 2007. He was a two-year team captain and earned All-Conference first team as both a junior and as a senior. He was a four-year starter who was named team Most Valuable Player in 2007 and Offensive Player of the Year in 2006. He also earned the 110 percent Award for the 2005 season.

In 2007, he led his team to a 14-2-3 record and a trip to the district finals during a senior season in whiche he tallied 12 goals.

Terrell becomes the fifth to commit to the first-year head coach Hardin who is looking to turn around a team that went 3-14-1 last season.
