Taylor Gaines - 2010-11 Cycling Recruit

Taylor Gaines, who will graduate from Bloomington High School South this spring, signed with the 12-time collegiate track cycling national champions earlier this week at the Marian University Cycling Center.
Gaines currently competes for Pro Chain - Turner on the trade team circuit and has excelled in his career. He won the Category 2 title at the 2010 Sunny King Criterium and won the 2009 Category 2 Cereland Criterium. He was the overall leader at Super Week in 2009 after placing fifth, fourth, third and second in first four stages. He also earned the title at the Downer's Grove Junior (15-18) Criterium in 2008 and finished third at the Joe Martin Stage Race in category 3 in 2009.
Gaines plans to major in English at Marian University.
