Elspeth Huyett - 2010-11 Cycling Recruit

Elspeth Huyett, who will graduate from Brandywine Heights High School in Albertus, Pa., this spring, signed with the 12-time national champions on Friday at the Marian University Cycling Center.
Huyett is a 12-time national medalist who earned a runner-up finish in the scratch race at the 2008 Junior Track National Championships and earned a fourth-place finish at the 2008 Junior National Road Championships in the road race. She earned the 17-18 Best All-Around Rider award for the 17-18 women in Pennsylvania and earned invitations to the USA Cycling Junior Developmental Camp at the National Training Center in Colorado Springs in 2008. She was also invicted to the Women's Developmental Camp at the Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., in 2009.
The regional vice president of the Future Business Leaders of America, Huyett placed eighth in the Miss FBL competition and served as the chapter secretary for her school.
Huyett becomes the sixth rider to commit to the 12-time national champions.
