Michelle Marcum - 2011 Softball Recruit

Michelle Marcum (New Palestine, Ind./New Palestine), who will graduate from New Palestine High School this spring, committed to playing for the 2009 MCC Tournament champions on Wednesday.
Marcum has been a three-year varsity starter and is a member of the two-time IHSAA Class 3A state champions. Last season, she batted .473 with six home runs and 42 RBI. She was named to the Indianapolis Star Super Team and was an All-State second team selection. She has also been named All-Conference in each of her three seasons.
