INDIANAPOLIS - Marian University head women's bowling coach Chad Hardin is proud to announce the second commitment for the 2011-12 season.
Sarah Tebelman, who graduated from Mother of Mercy High School in Cincinnati, became the second to commit to Marian University for the second season of women's bowling.
Tebelman was a four-year member of the varsity team that won two sectional championships and a district title. The team earned a spot at the state finals where they finished in 10th place.
As an individual, she finished eighth at the Bearcat Classic on a day when the team finished second out of 40 teams. She was part of the a program that set a school and city record for highest match total. She also led her team to a 14-1 record and won the Girls Greater Cincinnati League title as a senior.
She was named a Cincinnati Enquirer Winter Sports All-Star honorable mention and earned high honor roll in each of her four years. She is planning to study medical technologies at Marian University.
Tebelman will join a cast of sophomores that finished a strong inaugural season, but are looking to improve in their second season of competition.
