CRAWFORDSVILLE, Ind. - The Marian University men's cross country team traveled to Crawfordsville, Ind., on Saturday to compete in the 49th annual Wabash Hokum Karem. The Knights finished in the dead center of the pack with a third place finish out of six teams. Wabash swept the top three spots for the victory on the day.

That was the theme for the 2009 Marian University men's cross country team. Fighting through injuries and getting the student-athletes to push themselves beyond their limits is what head coach Dave Roberts asked of his team in 2009.

INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian University men's cross country team not only earned its first-ever Mid-Central College Conference title and its best-ever finish at the NAIA National Championships, but a pair of Knights earned another honor for their academic performance.
