Travis Dillon enters his second year working as a member of the Marian University Athletic Training staff in 2017. Dillon joined the Knights after working for five years with the St. Vincent Randolph County Outreach group, working with Monroe Central and Union High Schools. 

Dillon completed his undergraduate degree from Ball State University in 2001, receiving a B.S. in Athletic Training. He then completed his master's degree in management from Hamline University in 2003.

From 2003-2011, Dillon worked in several different areas of athletics in the state of Texas. From 2003-04, he served as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees Professional Hockey Club in Hidalgo, Texas. In 2004 he was also the head trainer for the Rio Grande Valley Dorados Arena League Football team. Beginning in 2004, Dillon began work with prep athletes, serving as the head trainer at Santa Rosa High School (2004-06) and Hidalgo High School (2006-11).

He and his wife, Jessica, have one son Tyler. They currently reside in the Indianapolis area.
