Lauren Davis
Asst AD Student-Athlete Services

Lauren Davis was named the new assistant athletics director for student-athlete services as announced by Marian athletic director Steve Downing on July 5, 2017. Davis is entering her third year at Marian overall and spent the previous two as the head women's lacrosse coach.

In her role, Davis will work closely with faculty academic advisors to help student-athletes understand degree requirements and develop responsible academic planning, while also working with faculty to assist in assessing student-athlete course performance. She will work closely with the Faculty Athletic Representative, faculty academic advisors, and Registrar to monitor NAIA eligibility, degree requirements, and class schedules to meet specific athletic needs.

"I am extremely blessed to accept this position and would like to thank Mr. Downing for the opportunity," said Davis. "I am excited to move into a new role and work with the student-athletes at Marian University, but would also like to thank everyone associated with the lacrosse program for a great inaugural season."

Prior to her position as an administrator Davis led the Knights lacrosse team in its inaugural season and finished with a 9-8 record.
